Q. What's your return policy?
A. Please visit our store policy page.
Q. Do you use only organic ingredients?
A. We have extensively researched and have only allowed one synthetic ingredient in our products. Decyl polyglucose is contained in our salt scrubs. Decyl polyglucose is a naturally-derived surfactant (from corn and sugar) that has no known or suspected side effects. As opposed to other synthetic surfactants (surfactants are substances that foam and clean), it doesn't have any contamination concerns, it's highly biodegradable, and it's so gentle it can come in contact with skin at full strength. (We tested it, too!) It currently was awarded a 0 risk score on the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep website, so we use it when we want to make bubbles where soap won't. At Bubble and Bee, we always want you to have choices. If you choose not to have a product with decyl polyglucose, you can use our bath salts instead of our salt scrubs.
Q. Does your deodorant work?
A. Yes! We use it every day! If it doesn't work for you, let us know and we'll replace the product with another scent until you find something that works for you. If you can't find one that works, we'll give you a full refund for the original purchase price. We've offered this guarantee since the beginning, and so far we literally have a 99% success rate!
Q. I want to carry your products in my store. Do you sell wholesale?
A. Yes, just send an e-mail to stephanie @ bubbleandbee.com (omit spaces) for a wholesale application.
Q. Is your site secure?
A. Yes, our store is powered by a very reputible processor on a secure server. You'll notice your address bar turn from http to https when you go to the check out page. This means that the checkout process is secure. For more about our security, click here
Q. What is your commitment to the environment?
A. Bubble and Bee is careful to recycle all packaging that comes to us (ie, the tubs our oils come in, etc). We also only use recycleable or reuseable materials for our containers and packaging. We are working right now to find appropriate bottles made from post-consumer recycled materials. We have recently phased in paper made from stone. It makes less waste water, requires no bleaching, puts out less carbon emissions and no trees die in the process! Although municipal alternative energy sources are not available in our area, we are exploring the option of solar power for our facility. All packing materials that comes to us from our suppliers is re-used or recycled. We do not purchase packing materials. If you recieve bubble wrap or styrofoam popcorn from us, it is material that has been sent to us in the shipments from our suppliers and re-used in your shipment. We encourage you to pass it on! We are constantly working on ways to reduce our waste and carbon emissions. If you have an idea for us, please feel free to e-mail us at feedback@bubbleandbee.com.
New: Our shipping boxes are C2C Certified!
Q. Do you conduct animal testing?
A. No way! We test our products on us, our friends, and our family. (I guess you could count them as animals...) Because the ingredients we use are food-grade, natural and organic ingredients, and because our products are self-preserving, there is no need to test our formulas in a lab setting.
If you have any questions that you'd like answered here, please e-mail me at stephanie@bubbleandbee.com. And make sure to check out my blog!
Q. Do you offer a printed catalog?
A. We're always expanding and changing our product line, so a printed catalog isn't feasible. You can find everything here on our website, though!
Q. Do you offer free samples of your products?
A. We make everything by hand, and because our costs of ingredients are much higher than non-organic chemical-based brands, it's not feasible for us to send out free samples.
