Choosing a Deodorant for your Body Chemistry

We get this question a lot: What's your strongest deodorant? Well, it's a trick question. There is no such thing as a "strongest deodorant"; ask one person and they'll tell you the Truly Herbal Spray. Ask another one and they'll tell you Pit Putty. It all depends on your personal body chemistry. It's about finding the right blend of essential oils and method of application for your personal body chemistry. Sometimes you'll find it on the first try. Sometimes you may need to try a few before you find just the right one. That's why we offer our special replacement guarantee, and will even make you a custom blend.

We have a lot of options to choose from so we've created this chart below to help you choose just the right one for you.

Deodorant Ingredients Scent Description Benefits Steph's Insight
'Pit Putty (Original, Blue Package) Organic arrowroot powder, organic coconut oil, organic lemon essential oil, organic cloves essential oil. Spicy with a hint of lemon and coconut

Arrowroot powder helps to absorb sweat.

This is our best-seller.
Geranium Lime Pit Putty (Pink Package) Organic arrowroot powder, organic coconut oil, organic lime essential oil, organic geranium essential oil. Geranium has a rose-like scent, but a little more earthy. Lime balances out the floral scent so it's not too perfumey. Arrowroot powder helps to absorb sweat. More of a feminine scent than the original lemon and clove.
Even though it's more feminine in scent, guys can use it too. This is actually what Stevie "B" uses a lot of the time.
Truly Herbal Spray Vodka (Water, Grain alcohol) organic lavender essential oil, organic tea tree essential oil, organic rosemary essential oil, organic silver fir essential oil Slightly more masculine, but still good for women. Woody overtones of pine and undertones of lavender, rosemary and tea tree. Alcohol kills bacteria on contact. Long-lasting. Great to use alone or as a freshen up spray. No powder residue or staining to worry about. What I've been using lately.
Lemongrass Rosemary Spray Vodka (Water, Grain alcohol) organic lemongrass essential oil, organic rosemary essential oil. An even blend of sweet lemongrass and earthy rosemary. Alcohol kills bacteria on contact. Long-lasting. Great to use alone or as a freshen up spray. No powder residue or staining to worry about. This is what Greg from About Face and Body in Illinois recommends! A lot of guys seem to like this one.
Truly Herbal Stick Organic beeswax, organic cocoa butter, organic sunflower oil, organic lavender essential oil, organic tea tree essential oil, organic rosemar y essential oil, organic silver fir essential oil. Woody overtones of pine and undertones of lavender, rosemary and tea tree. Sweeter and slightly milder than the spray version. This was our very first formula. Still workin' today without any changes! Works for men or women, although it's a harder stick so for guys with underarm hair I recommend the spray so you're not rippin' out any hair. This deodorant will last you forever--I have people that still have their stick from last year. The only downside to the beeswax sticks is that if you put too much on, it can stain a white shirt. They also don't have the wetness absorbing properties that the Pit Puttys do.
Lemongrass Rosemary Stick Organic beeswax, organic cocoa butter, organic sunflower oil, organic lemongrass essential oil, organic rosemary essential oil. An even blend of lemongrass and rosemary, with a hint of sweet beeswax and cocoa butter.
