All our lip balms are certified organic, and are flavored with organic essential oils and organic flavor compounds. Never synthetic flavors/fragrances--that's nasty. The only non-organic ingredient is stevia, which we use as a natural sweetener. It's not yet available in oil-soluble organic form. None of our lip balms contain SPF ingredients because most active sunscreen compounds do more harm than good, breaking down in the sun and creating free-radicals on your skin, in addition to hosts of other side effects that you can read about here. Feel free to stock up for holidays and birthdays. The shelf life of our lip balms is at least 18 months. Beeswax is naturally self-preserving and helps the balms stay fresh for a long time.
