Organic Shea Butter has been used for hundreds of years to protect and beautify skin.  It's naturally high in Vitamin A, E, and F.  Vitamins A and E help to soothe, hydrate, and balance the skin. They also provide skin collagen which assists with wrinkles and other signs of aging. Vitamin F contains essential fatty acids, and helps protect and revitalize damaged skin. The shea butter that we use has not been chemically refined or bleached. It has gone through a mild purification process whereby a natural clay draws out any impurities in the butter. That way you are sure to get a high-quality butter that retains its natural properties but without the risk of impurities.

Organic Rosehip Seed Oil is an amazing facial oil also high in Vitamin F, A, and E. Rosehip seed oil is not an essential oil, but a vegetable oil that has been used by the native people of Chile for hundreds of years. Recent studies have proven it to reduce and prevent wrinkles, scarring, age spots, and to help skin retain a healthy glow. This oil comes from wild roses that are grown in the Chilean mountains. After the rose blossoms, the petals fall off and leave the rose hip. This rose hip is fully of tiny seeds. Those seeds are cold-pressed and the oil is extracted. 

Vitamin E has long been known for its anti-aging properties. We add it to our formula for this purpose, and to increase the shelf life of the product.  This is natural vitamin E, not tocopherol acetate.  It is tested and guaranteed to be free from GMOs and is vacuum distilled, not processed with solvents, so there is no risk of hydroquinone contamination. 

Directions: This product can be used as a day cream or a night cream. Because it contains no water, a LITTLE goes a LONG way. No need to slather it on like a water-based lotion. The face cream has a smooth consistency, and absorbs quickly in to skin. We've kept it unscented so it's appropriate for even the most sensitive skin.

May not be appropriate for people with nut allergies, as shea butter comes from shea nuts.

There is a men's and a women's version of this product.  They are identical products, only the packaging is different.

The shelf life of this product is 12 months after the date of purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: During the warmer months, this product may melt during transit, and lose its whipped nature.  We fill every jar to the very top; if it appears that it's not completely full, it is because the product has melted and resolidified.  You will find that it's plenty of product, though, because a little bit goes a long way.
